Our Journey
Founded in the 1990s as a labour-only contractor providing quality joiners in and around Manchester, TMJ Contractors has evolved in response to growing demand. Our reputation for excellence enabled us to expand our offerings and workforce, and today we provide both labour and materials to some of the most prestigious construction projects across the North West of England and beyond.

Managing Director
Over the past 15 years, Dan has transformed our project accounting. As a qualified QS, he oversees project performance, ensuring commercial targets are met, with expertise in value engineering and cost-saving.

James Carroll
Contracts Director
With 35+ years in joinery, James is an active Contracts Manager, overseeing site visits, quality checks, and resource management. He's qualified in IOSH, SMSTS, SEATS, and Mental Health First Aid.

Natalie Taylor
Operations Director
Natalie drives TMJ's growth, focusing on company image, business plans, and CPD. She leads our apprenticeship programme and represents SMEs in industry discussions as a CITB Construction Ambassador.

Robert Tinsley
Quantity Surveyor
In 5 years at TMJ, Rob has improved systems and processes with precision. His joinery and building experience drives business growth, while mentoring our QS Degree Apprentice and ensuring flawless paperwork.

Lauren Hutchinson
Quantity Surveyor
Lauren, recently awarded a 1st Honours in Quantity Surveying, has been with TMJ for 3 years. Now pursuing RICS accreditation, she brings a fresh approach to Contract Management and is a key team member.
